Gomphrena Fireworks is a beautiful and delicate flower that is a real showstopper. The flower is a brilliant pink ball that sits atop tall stems with little yellow starbursts that push through each tiny spike of pink. This plant stands 3-4 feet tall and wide. It will stay in bloom all summer long. Each flower measures 1" diameter across and they are many of them per plant.
The gomphrena fireworks can either be planted in a container or in the ground. It likes to be in full sun and prefers to have some periods of dryness in between waterings. If it gets too dry, it will wilt. Butterflies and other pollinators absolutely adore the gomphrena fireworks. It is also deer resistant and can be used in cut flower arrangements.
