Round balls of joy or in this case hot peppers. This ornamental pepper is edible and very hot. The fruit that is produced are little round balls that are full of color and pack quite the punch. The fruit will vary in color ranging from yellow and orange to some red.
The plant itself grows to a height of about 5" tall and wide with the fruit sitting on top. The fruit will be present all summer long and add pizzazz to any container.
Ornamental peppers can make the transition into the home in the fall but will not produce any more peppers after their first crop is finished. They are not a long-lived houseplant but more of a statement piece.
